Joe Cooper has been preaching every Sunday since he was 19 years old. He has held ministries in Indiana and Florida, as well as Kentucky.He, and his wife Pam, have been at First Christian Church, Lexington, since August 2010. McKinney, KY, is his hometown and he graduated from high school there. He has earned degrees from Johnson Bible College (AB), and Cincinnati Christian Seminary (MA). The Coopers have two children. Tim (April) is the lead minister of Momentum Christian Church in Lexington. Tim and April have three children, Makayla, Trace, and Lilly Grace. Becky (Nate) Collier is a third grade teacher in the Fayette County Public Schools. Doug Diggles is our part time music minister here at First Christian Church. He and his wife, Diane, and their daughters, Christiana and Katie, have a full time music ministry traveling all over the United States and Canada. Doug and the girls sing and play instruments while Diane brings an extra depth to the songs she interprets through sign language.The Diggles Family is using their God given talents to serve their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Bill is our new youth minister here at First Christian. He has had several different very successful youth ministries both spiritually and numerically. He was highly recommended by Wayne Smith and Wally Rendel. Bill will be growing our next generation! Bill has an Associates of Science Degree and a Bachelor’s Science from Cincinnati Christian University. Bill was baptized on July 2, 1972 at First Christian in Springfield, Ohio! Bill loves working with children, U. K. sports, golf, more golf, and even more golf, and cruising the Caribbean!

Bill Miller and his Carol have been in the ministry since 1964 when he graduated from Lindsay Wilson. Bill graduated from Kentucky Christian Ministry 1964. They have two sons, Don and Bob; they lost a daughter Dorothy. Bill has preached in Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Kentucky. Melinda and her husband Brian have been with First Christian since July 2010. Brian is an alliance engineer for Lexmark International and Melinda is a retired middle school, high school, and university English teacher. She was also a middle school principal and special education coordinator. Melinda and Brian have a little dog named, Kiva Dunes. Kiva is named after a golf course! Kiva is well loved! Brian loves golf and Melinda loves reading and loves sports!

Dan Milbern has been at First Christian Church as a teacher, deacon and elder since 1964. He is retired IBM employee and retired realtor from Reality World. He and Norma have two children-Jackie (David) Browning and Joel and (Frazann) Milbern. Jackie and David have two sons: Lee, our own power point technician, and Christopher. Joel and Frazann have a daughter, Danielle. Dan is also from McKinney, KY and is a cousin to our own Joe Cooper. Dan also loves all sports and doing everything that needs to be done!

Don and his wife, Katherine, have been with us at First Christian Church since July, 2010. Don is always working on the computer in the office weekly. We could not complete our weekly task without him. He is a huge part of our growth! Don is a deacon here at First Christian and served on several other church boards. Don and Katherine have 7 children-one is deceased. He is also a retired IBM/Lexmark employee. He loves participating any all types of Bible discussions and studies and also enjoys all sports! We are so lucky to have Don and his talents with technology.
