One Voice
December 20, 2024, 2:00 PM
Greetings in Christ and hope and pray you have a wonderful week!
There are many voices out there in the world telling us who we should or could be or who they think we are.
In the end, though, there is ONLY ONE VOICE and OPINION that matters.
That ONE belongs to God.
When God looks at us, He sees us through the lens of Jesus.
Why is that so important?
When Jesus died on the cross, he paid for all of our sins so we can be forgiven if we accept that gift of mercy and grace.
Listen to what the Apostle Paul wrote to the believers in Ephesus in Ephesians 1:7..."In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace."
And that's why becoming a follower of Jesus Christ is such GOOD NEWS
If we could only see how much of value we truly are, the world would be such a different place.

We celebrate the birth of Jesus, the author of that GOOD NEWS, especially during the Christmas season.
It's been a great Christmas season so far here at FCC.
This past Sunday, December 15th, we had a great day with the young ladies from Delight Ministries (a Bible study for college girls on the University of KY campus) joining us in the morning worship service and making a special presentation.

We were also blessed to witness Tim & Debbie Barnes come forward and place their membership with FCC. They have both been previously immersed into Christ.

Our Christmas Dinner for Church & Community was immediately following the morning worship service. Someone counted nearly 90 people served! We say a BIG THANKS to the Christian Ladies Fellowship for all their hard work in making the dinner a success. Way to go, CLF !!!

It will be another BIG day at FCC this coming Sunday, December 22nd as we continue to celebrate Jesus and Christmas.
Here's a schedule for the day:
Christmas Cantata Service: during our 10:30 am Worship Service
Christmas Service @ Pine Meadows Nursing Home: Bible Bingo at 2 pm and 2:30 pm Worship Service
Christmas Candlelight Service: 7 pm at FCC; music, scripture reading, and lighting of candles; cookies, cupcakes, and coffee will be served following the service!

I hope and pray we will see you this Sunday at FCC.
If not, we wish you and yours a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

In Him,
Greg H.
