Greetings in Christ!
I hope and pray you've had a good week.
I've been out of town for a few days this week.
My body, Spirit and Soul were telling me it's time to get away for a few days. It's good timing. Kelly's work through the local schools is on spring break.
We've been down in the mountains of western North Carolina and East Tennessee. This is one of my favorite areas of the country.
I really enjoy being in the mountains. It makes me think of the 121st Psalm, "I lift up my eyes to the mountains -- where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth."
By The Way: We are just over a week away from Easter weekend at FCC. Our Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 19th (10:30 am - 12:30 pm). The Egg Hunt is for children fifth grade and under. The Egg Hunt will be followed by hot dogs, chips, and drinks for the entire family! We are still in NEED of CANDIES. We need individually wrapped candies for Eggs. Please drop them off in the Blue Barrels located in the foyer.
On Sunday, April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection at FCC. We have a continental breakfast in the Fellowship Hall starting at 9:15 am. Our worship service will be at 10:30 am. This is a GREAT TIME to invite family, friends, and neighbors to church! I am praying that we ALL will be doing some praying and inviting!
