Greetings in Christ and happy Good Friday to you.
I pray that our thoughts and prayers are focused, especially this week, as we remember Jesus ending His earthly ministry and going to the cross.
During the Passion Week, Jesus did many things that we have recorded for us in the Gospels.
On Friday, especially, Jesus gave us some real-life object lessons to illustrate some important truths.
The suffering, pain, and loneliness that Jesus faced on Friday were tremendous.
The culmination was going to be a horrible death on a cross.
Friends, there is no greater example of sacrificial love than this act!
Let us all remember this ultimate act of love today.
I look forward to seeing you at FCC this weekend.
Our Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 19th (10:30 am - 12:30 pm). The Egg Hunt is for children fifth grade and under. The Egg Hunt will be followed by hot dogs, chips, and drinks for the entire family!
On Sunday, April 20th, we will celebrate the resurrection at FCC. We have a continental breakfast in the Fellowship Hall starting at 9:15 am. Our worship service will be at 10:30 am. This is a GREAT TIME to invite family, friends, and neighbors to church! I am praying that we ALL will be doing some praying and inviting!
Lord willing, I will see you Sunday!
In Him,
Greg H
